Senior Marketing Assistant

We are recruiting for a Senior Marketing Assistant to be a part of our Customer Business Support team. The ideal candidate will be able to write articulately and fluently in English, have a solid level of wine knowledge, an interest in product data management and a keen eye for detail. If successful, you will work with colleagues across several teams to provide valuable marketing support services to our customers.

The Role:

Customer Communications: working with various Liberty Wines departments to create and send customer newsletters and updates on products via MailChimp.

- Product Information: Managing technical details and product fact sheet content for marketing materials and website.

- Supplier Visits: Liaising with Buying and Brand Management to create itineraries for visiting producers to maximise commercial success.

- Marketing Support: Supporting the sales team with marketing requests, such as creating event and training booklets, and other materials as required.

- Competitions: Coordinating entries for several awards competitions, maintaining awards results data.

Skills & Experience:

-
Highly organised and efficient, with excellent attention to detail
- Fluent written and spoken English, is essential
- Previous experience in the wine trade is advantageous
- A good level of wine knowledge, ideally a minimum of WSET Level 3
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat
- Experience with MailChimp preferred

Office Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy Office team where you will work in a team of two managing the smooth running and cover of reception and the office.

The Role:

This is a varied role and responsibilities include:

Building maintenance:

- Creation of the annual building maintenance plan, continually looking for cost efficiencies;
- Manage the Company handyman ensuring the building and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard and necessary repairs are carried out;
- Manage the Company cleaning contract and maintain a good relationship with the Area Manager to ensure cleaning standards are at the level required;

Health and Safety:

- Be an active member of the H&S committee, responsible for taking minutes during bi-monthly meetings and follow through on action points;
- Responsible for managing office H&S policies and procedures, ensuring all legal documentation is up to date and available during inspections;

Company insurances:

- Be the first point of contact for queries related to all Company insurances;
- Liaise with brokers for renewals, ensuring that insurance quotations are competitive

Other:

- Manage office expenditure and budget, including completion of monthly credit card form for the Finance team;
- Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease;
- Assisting the sales team with drafting of customer contracts

Essential Skills & Experience:

- At least 2 years’ working experience in office management;
- Previous experience of supplier management as well as H&S knowledge would be an advantage;
- Good IT literacy including Excel and Outlook;
- WSET qualification would be an advantage;
- Confident and enthusiastic with a can-do, positive attitude;
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills both internally and to our customers;

Wine knowledge is not a pre-requisite but a willingness to learn is.

Multi Drop Delivery Driver

An opportunity has arisen for a Full-time Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution team.  Reporting to the Route Planner this role is responsible for the following:

The Role:

- Multi drop deliveries following a routed manifest.
- Carrying out customer collections.
- High attention to detail when following delivery and collection instructions.
- Full logging of required information upon completion of each delivery/collection.
- Completed delivery paperwork to be returned on time.
- All deliveries to be treated with the upmost care and attention.
- Picking and packing of orders in the warehouse when required.
- Company vehicle housekeeping and maintenance to always be of high standard.

Health & Safety
- Work in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures. Must comply with Health and Safety requirements.

Hours:

- Monday to Friday 6.30am to 3pm with a willingness to be flexible when required and also work extra hours during peak periods.

Ex-cellar Co-ordinator & Stock Planner

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy Shipping team.


Key responsibilities:

- Management of ex-cellar transactions (customers’ direct orders, including relevant reporting);
- Liaison with the sales team, customers, suppliers and hauliers;
- Ex-cellars invoice processing;
- Forecasting of Portuguese and South American stock requirements in line with business profile, seasonality and promotions contributing to the company’s overall stock management;
- Control and monitor supplier allocations in collaboration with buyers & Brand mangers;
- Accurate entry of purchase orders and proforma verification:
- Continually look for ways to maximise efficiencies within Shipping;
- Associated stock control system maintenance – updating NAV and Liberty Pricing System with new vintages, freight and cost prices, reserving new vintage stock;
- Overseeing the delivery of orders into the bonded and duty paid warehouses, as well as any direct deliveries;
- Monitor and performance manage freight forwarders to ensure value-for-money coupled with good service;
- Any task associated with the Shipping department reasonably requested to undertake;
- Input into strategy and development of the Shipping team and the wider back office function.


Essential Skills & Experience:

- Some experience in stock planning, preferably in the drinks industry;
- Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills;
- Numerate and computer literate, including Microsoft Office;
- Organised, flexible and self-motivated;
- Team player;
- Able to work under pressure;
- Good level of written and spoken Portuguese & Spanish would be an advantage;
- Knowledge of wine desirable but not essential

Warehouse Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team.   Reporting directly to the Warehouse Assistant Manager, the role will have responsibility for the following:

The Role:

Warehouse

- Picking and preparation of orders for despatch
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
- Ensuring service standards are maintained and work processes are followed and continually monitored to be improved

Stock Replenishment

- Stock put away from our daily stock replenishment
- Ensuring accuracy of stock put away into correct locations

General

- Working in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
- Any other reasonable tasks as required

Skills & Experience:

- Flexi forklift licence desired but not essential
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work unsupervised, and plan own workload
- Computer literate

Hours:

Early morning shift 4am – 12:30 and afternoon 1:30 – 10pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Customer Services Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Assistant to work in our vibrant Customer Services department. This role is the first point of contact for our wide range of customers and is responsible for delivering the great service that Liberty Wines takes pride in.

Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager, the successful candidate will be tasked with sales order processing, customer support services and problem resolution. Working as part of a close-knit team, we need people who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure exemplary service to each and every customer.

Skills & Experience:

- Reliable, conscientious with the ability to take ownership of issues
- Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Team oriented and able to build good working relationships
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to work things out logically
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy along with good IT skills
- Great written and oral communication skills
