We are currently recruiting for the following role(s):

Warehouse Stock Control Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Full-time Stock Control Assistant to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution team.  Reporting to the Stock Controller this role is responsible for the following:

Role & Responsibilities:
- Daily pick bay location checks, confirming correct products in correct        locations & reporting discrepancies;
- Batch control on bulk pallet stock arriving from bonded warehouse;
- Rolling cycle counting;
- Enter all data into system for new products that arrive;
- Respond to any internal or external stock requests;
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies;
- Manage stock discrepancies with third party warehouse;
- Managing available stock locations;
- Manage products to make sure they are located correctly in terms of volume   and sales;
- Reporting and investigating any stock variances;
- Help manage the prep-work for yearly stocktakes;
- Work with Stock Controller on continuous improvement and implement new  ideas.

Warehouse:
- Picking and preparation of orders for despatch;
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift);
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure    all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels;
- Ensuring service standards are maintained, work processes are followed and  are continually monitored to be improved;
- Any other reasonable tasks as required.

Health & Safety
-Work in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and  procedures;
- Must comply with Health and Safety requirements.

Person specification:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to work unsupervised, and plan own workload;
- Physically fit;
- Bendy Truck Licence desirable but not essential;
- Computer literate.

Hours
- 7.30am – 4.00pm – Tuesday to Saturday
- Possible variable shift pattern during peak periods

Salary and Benefits:
Salary is dependent on experience, with the following:
- Discretionary personal bonus of up to 5% of basic salary based on  performance against key objectives
- Participation in discretionary Company bonus scheme
- 22 days holiday rising to 25 days
- Stakeholder pension scheme/travel insurance
- Discounted wine

Junior Brand Manager

An opportunity has arisen within our Brand Management team for an ambitious candidate looking to get into the commercial brand management side of the wine trade. 

As first point of contact for a selection of key producers in the Liberty Wines Portfolio, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with suppliers including production of monthly reports and Annual Brand Planning.

You will also work closely with the Sales team to make your brands as commercially successful as possible. 

A key aspect of the role will be to support your brands at producer events and tastings, acting as an ambassador and co-ordinating with Events, Communications and Customer Business Support teams for all relevant producer activity.

This is a varied and interesting role and a great opportunity to work with some of the most respected producers in the market.

Skills & Experience:

-
French language skills are essential
- Wine Marketing or Brand Management Experience
- Experience in the wine trade – service, shop floor or winery
- Good industry knowledge including routes to market and on- and off-trade
- WSET qualified (Level 2 or above)
- Experience in working professionally with people of different cultures
- Good IT knowledge including PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables/Look ups)

Customer Services Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Assistant to work in our vibrant Customer Services department. This role is the first point of contact for our wide range of customers and is responsible for delivering the great service that Liberty Wines takes pride in.

Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager, the successful candidate will be tasked with sales order processing, customer support services and problem resolution. Working as part of a close-knit team, we need people who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure exemplary service to each and every customer.

Skills & Experience:

- Reliable, conscientious with the ability to take ownership of issues
- Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Team oriented and able to build good working relationships
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to work things out logically
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy along with good IT skills
- Great written and oral communication skills

Previous experience in an order processing or customer services role is essential. Wine knowledge is not a pre-requisite but a willingness to learn is.
