An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team.   Reporting directly to the Warehouse Assistant Manager, the role will have responsibility for the following:

Warehouse:
- Picking and preparation of orders for dispatch
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
- Ensuring service standards are maintained and work processes are followed and continually monitored to be improved

Stock Replenishment:
- Stock put away from our daily stock replenishment
- Ensuring accuracy of stock put away into correct locations

General:
- Working in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
- Any other reasonable tasks as required

Person Specification:
- Flexi forklift licence desired but not essential
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work unsupervised and plan own workload
- Computer literate

Hours:
Rotating shifts – 6:00am – 2:30pm and 1:30pm – 10:00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Salary & Benefits:
Salary is dependent on experience with the following:

Warehouse Assistant Manager - Afternoon Shift

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution team.  Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager this role is responsible for the following:

Warehouse:
- Process customer orders when required
- Picking and preparation of orders for dispatch, including directly from our bond replenishment
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
- Ensure service standards are maintained, work processes are followed and are continually monitored to be improved
- Assist the Warehouse Stock Controller to put bond replenishment stock away when required
- Process consignments for daily courier dispatches
- Assist with stock returns process

People Management:
- Supervise the afternoon warehouse function
- Implement and manage service expectations for all staff
- Implement continuous improvement ideas with staff
- Mentor and train new and existing staff

Health & Safety:
- Work in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures, ensuring that all staff, including van drivers, comply with Health and Safety requirements

Person Specification:
- Experience in leading and motivating staff
- Computer literate with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Pro-active and able to manage and plan their own and others’ work
- Ability to cross train with other team members within the department
- Exceptional team worker with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the company

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 3.00pm to 11.30pm, Friday 11.00am to 8.00pm with a willingness to work extra hours during peak periods

Part-time Customer Services Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Customer Services Assistant to work in our orders department on our busiest days – Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  The department receives and processes several hundred orders daily.

Reporting directly to the Customer Services Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for sales order taking and data entry, customer support services and problem resolution.  We take all aspects of our service seriously and we need people who are willing to go the extra mile to provide exemplary service to our customers.

Skills & Experience:

- Reliable, conscientious with the ability to take ownership of issues
- Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Team oriented and able to build good working relationships
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to work things out logically
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy along with good IT skills
- Great written and oral communication skills

Previous experience of an order processing or customer services role is essential.  Wine knowledge is not a pre-requisite but a willingness to learn is.

Invoicing Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for an Invoicing Assistant to join our busy Customer Services department.  This role requires an individual who is customer focussed with a genuine willingness to help deliver exceptional customer service. 

Reporting to the Invoicing Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Invoices
- Issuing customer invoices within agreed timescales
- Checking daily sales reports for pricing and margin discrepancies, investigating and resolving any issues
- Setting up customer special prices and discounts accurately
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries from customers and sales employees

Credit Notes
- Processing customer returns and other credit notes within agreed timescales
- Investigating errors, resolving them and identifying solutions to ensure they are not repeated
- Recording service failures accurately for management reporting
- Assist in managing inbound queries and responding to them within agreed timescales
- Liaise with the warehouse, customer service departments and external suppliers to resolve problems

Skills & experience:

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to investigate complex problems and see them through to resolution
- A confident communicator in person, by phone or by email with customers as well as having the ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and all levels within the business
- Able to work unsupervised, prioritise work and manage own workload
- Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Strong IT skills with the ability to interrogate systems to find the information required
- Experience in a similar role, or an Accounts Payable/Receivable position would be an advantage
