An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Assistant to process overnight orders from our customers. 

Many of our customers take advantage of our overnight ordering service for London and our Warehouse and Customer Services teams facilitate managing, processing, and despatching those orders.  An early start of 4am is required to do this and there is a real pressure to ensure that all orders are processed accurately within a tight timeframe.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

- Prioritise and process emailed and answerphone orders received after office closing hours dealing with any issues or queries appropriately. 
- Prioritise orders and queries for the rest of the Customer Services team before working alongside them in processing and taking orders by email and phone.

Skills & Experience:

- Reliable, conscientious with the ability to take ownership of issues
- Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Willing to go the extra mile to give customers great service
- Team oriented and able to build good working relationships
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to work things out logically

Previous experience of an order processing or customer services role is essential.  Wine knowledge is not essential but a willingness to learn is.

Hours of work will be 4am to 12.30pm Mon – Fri. For initial training you will need to work from 8am – 4.30pm.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary will be dependent on experience with the following:

- Personal bonus of up to 5% of salary based on performance against key objectives

Credit Controller

An opportunity has arisen in our busy credit control function which manages over 1,000 accounts, and is growing every month.

The Role:

Reporting to the Credit Manager and Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Chasing overdue debts in the UK and Ireland by phone, fax, letter and email
- Credit checking new customers
- Processing new account applications
- Posting the daily banking and allocations of payments
- Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements
- Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
- Liaising with the Sales and Customer Service teams on credit control issues
- Working to monthly and annual collections targets

Essential Skills & Experience:

- Credit control experience
- Strong IT skills including Excel
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with a large range of people
- Team player

Wine knowledge is not a pre-requisite, but an interest in wine is beneficial.

Salary and Benefits:

- Salary will be commensurate with experience
- Personal Bonus of up to 5% of basic salary based on performance against key objectives

Junior Office Administrator

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Junior Office Administrator to join our busy team with responsibility for the following:

- Daily management of all office post
- Meeting and greeting visitors
- Managing general office supplies
- Photocopying; scanning and filing
- Assisting with internal events
- Administrative support to the Wine educator in running our in-house WSET courses
- Administrative support for the Marketing department including uploading of press coverage to the product management system
- Any other administrative tasks as required

Skills & Experience:

- Experience of working within an office environment
- Good IT literacy including typing skills @ 40wpm + Excel; and knowledge of Outlook.  Some data entry experience
- Numerate and literate
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills both internally and to our customers
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise work effectively

Remuneration & Hours of Work:

This post is a 1 year contract to cover maternity leave
Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours (one hour for lunch)

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities whilst seeking to grow sales with a number of existing Liberty Wines customers.

Applicants for this sales role must have proven trade sales experience of at least two years with a track record of developing sales amongst a variety of high calibre London accounts.

Skills and Experience:

• In-depth knowledge of the London on-trade and the requirements of a range of customers is essential
• Ability to meet sales targets is requisite for this role
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Good wine knowledge, preferably WSET Diploma level

Salary and Benefits:

We are interested in senior level candidates as well as those who possess the skills outlined above.

Salary/package plus bonus will be commensurate with experience.  

Salary Circa – Basic salary from £29,000 to £50,000 plus and the following:
