aboutus
Founded in March 1997, Liberty Wines' enviable reputation for quality and innovation was built upon its Italian wines, but its portfolio has now expanded to over 900 wines from all over the globe, with an emphasis on Italy, Australia, France, New Zealand and Spain. Liberty Wines opened an office in Dublin in January 2002.
Liberty Wines supplies both the on-trade and off-trade and represents a combination of high profile producers and smaller niche wineries that are among the best in their region, complemented by a range of Liberty-owned brands.
After being named International Wine Challenge 'Agent of the Year' in 2008, Liberty Wines was named 'On-Trade Supplier of the Year' at the IWC 2009, as well as retaining the 'Italian Specialist Merchant of the Year' award (the ninth time in 11 years that Liberty has won this award.). In 2009, Liberty Wines was also named 'Importer of the Year' by the Drinks Business Awards, and 'New World Merchant of the Year' by the Sommelier Wine Awards.
